Abraham Meader, son of Abraham Meader (1773-1856) [0135] and Sally Allen (b.1778), was born in 1822. He married Sarah Carter, born about 1822. They settled in Ellsworth, ME. The 1860 Census recorded them as living in Blue Hill, Hancock County, ME, he then 43 and she 38. They were at that time apparently living with an Elisha and Rebecca Gupitail [sic].
